A Message from the President

I am pleased to welcome you to the website of the Comité interrégional pour le transport des marchandises (CITM).

Established in the Fall of 1999, the CITM is a voluntary group of industry decision makers, governments, local authorities and socio-economic circles with the common objective of shaping the future of a strategic industry in the interest of the economic development of the five regions of Greater Montréal. It is also one of the four Freight Councils Partnerships (FCP) in Canada, the other ones being in Vancouver, Toronto and Halifax.

This website is therefore a gateway to one of the most significant collaborative efforts on the part of the major stakeholders in the field of goods transportation in more than 10 years!

You will find a wealth of information on goods transportation in Greater Montréal in our action plan, information bulletin and links to our partners, as well as other relevant documentation on the industry.
